Youth & Young Adult Director

The Dakota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a Youth, Young Adult, and Children’s Ministries Director with a passion for reaching, mentoring, and serving children, youth, and young adults across the Dakotas.

The director will provide leadership for youth, young adult, and children’s ministries throughout the conference. Responsibilities include planning and executing successful summer camp programs and conference-wide youth rallies; attending regional meetings and coordinating Youth Department programming; and providing leadership for other youth, young adult, and children’s ministry events and initiatives.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in theology preferred
• A strong personal commitment to Christ and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Passion for ministry to children, youth, and young adults
• Experience working with children and youth
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to successfully plan and execute programs and events
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Church Ministries Director

The Dakota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a Church Ministries and Pathfinder Director to provide leadership and support for ministries serving churches and members across the Dakotas.

The director will oversee the conference Pathfinder ministry and provide leadership and support for a variety of church ministries, including Prayer Ministries, Stewardship Ministries, Women’s Ministries, Men’s Ministries, Adventist Community Services, and Sabbath School Ministries.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Master Guide certification preferred
• A strong personal commitment to Christ and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church
• Experience in church ministry and working with volunteers
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to successfully coordinate programs and events
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

Human Resources Officer / Payroll Clerk

The Dakota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a full-time Human Resources Officer and Payroll Clerk to serve employees and ministries across North and South Dakota.

The Human Resources Officer / Payroll Clerk will provide support in human resources, payroll administration, employee benefits, and related accounting functions. Responsibilities include employee onboarding and records, benefits and leave administration, payroll processing, accounts payable and receivable, and other human resources and accounting responsibilities.

Qualifications:
• Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
• Human Resources certification or related credential preferred
• Willingness to obtain SHRM certification
• Degree or training in human resources, business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred
• Experience in human resources, payroll, bookkeeping, or accounting
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

This is a full-time position located at the Dakota Conference office in Bismarck, North Dakota, with a Monday–Thursday work schedule. Salary and benefits are provided according to North American Division wage scale and denominational policies.

District Pastor

The Dakota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a District Pastor to provide spiritual leadership, pastoral care, discipleship, and evangelistic leadership within a multi-church district.

The pastor will provide leadership to assigned congregations through preaching and teaching, member visitation and pastoral care, evangelism and outreach, discipleship, and the equipping of elders and lay leaders for ministry. The pastor will work closely with local church leaders, members, fellow pastors, and conference administration to support the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church across the Dakotas.

Qualifications:
• Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
• Bachelor’s degree in theology or equivalent recommended, or three to five years of experience in a ministerial field
• Strong preaching, teaching, and interpersonal communication skills
• A heart for evangelism, discipleship, and member care
• Ability to equip and encourage elders and lay leaders for ministry
• Strong organizational and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively with multiple congregations and collaboratively as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within an assigned district

Bible Worker

The Dakota Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is seeking a Bible Worker with a passion for sharing the gospel, making disciples, and helping individuals develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Working closely with a local pastor, the Bible Worker will generate and develop Bible study interests, conduct Bible studies with individuals and groups, provide spiritual encouragement and support, assist with evangelistic outreach, and help prepare individuals for baptism and church membership.

Qualifications:
• Active member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in good and regular standing
• Degree, training, or experience in biblical studies, theology, ministry, evangelism, or a related field preferred
• Passion for personal evangelism, Bible work, and disciple-making
• Ability to communicate biblical truths clearly and effectively
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with pastoral leadership
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple ministry responsibilities
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within an assigned area
